A BIT ABOUT US

The Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department or known as Station 72 is settled in the middle of the small town of Sheffield Pennsylvania. We have a total of four fire trucks including an engine, mini pumper, tanker, vacuum truck with fire pump, and a brush truck. We also have a side by side set up for medical emergencies where an ambulance can not go. Now on the EMS side of the department we currently have two ambulances ready to go at a moments notice. We run a large variety of calls each year within our coverage area along with assisting mutual aid. These calls can be as small as pumping water out of a basement to a large industrial fire. We also respond to quite a few search and recue calls being that we are surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. Each year we put hundreds of hours into training to be able to give the best and safest service we can to the community. At Station 72 we are all family and we love our community so we believe it is imperative to do everything we can to support them!
