WHO WE ARE
Here at Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department, we provide fire and EMS coverage to the small community of Sheffield Pennsylvania. We have an excellent group of volunteers willing to leave home at a moments notice to respond and help a person in need! At the Sheffield VFD we are not just a group of volunteers, we are family!
ACTIVITIES
Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We are striving to give more to community each year. With that comes expense's whether it is updating the building, updating equipment we already have, training or purchasing equipment that we can use to possibly save a life one day. So each year we we host a variety of activities for the public to come and enjoy!
FIREMAN'S FESTIVAL
Each year the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department hosts a Fireman's Festival. At the festival there is a little bit for everybody of all ages. During the week you can enjoy a fireman's water battle, chicken BBQ, carnival rides, kids night, poker booths, basket raffles, a nice parade, and to top of the week a famous firework show!
BUFFET DINNERS
Through out the year the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department hosts buffet dinners. These are a great opportunity to get the family out of the house and enjoy some home cooked food at a reasonable price. We really enjoy these because it is a great way to raises money and interact with the community we love to serve!
TURKEY PARTY
Each year we host a Turkey Party for the community. It is a great way to get out of the house and enjoy the company of friends and family! Plus you have the chance to win some prizes! We add new and exciting items to the prize list every year. So whether you are a resident of Sheffield or not this is a Turkey Party you do not want to miss!

Fireman's Creed
When I'm Called to duty God, Wherever flames may rage, Give me strength to save a life, Whatever be it's age. Help me to embrace a little child, Before it is too late. Or save an older person from, The horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert, To hear the weakest shout, And quickly and efficiently put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and, To give the best in me, To guard my neighbor and, Protect his property. And if according to your will, I have to lose my life, Bless with your protecting hand, My children and my wife.
